Origami Club with Miss Anderson
02/07/2011I have recently started an origami club at Tawhai School which runs every Friday lunch time. I had such an interest in the club but can only take 10 students at any one time so have decided to have a rotation where students get to come for five weeks, learn the basics and then some new students will get selected to try it out. The group I am currently working with have come such a long way and have made everything from cats and dogs to newspaper wallets and last week we even attempted the very hard flower ball! We succeeded and this week I have had students coming up to me with ones they made at home.
Here are some pictures from our week of making the flower ball.
Nikita, Kapish and Yuri are concentrating hard.
The crew!
We all fold at the same time so no one gets left behind.
Final creation! We put all our creations together to make the ball!
