BOARD OF TRUSTEE ELECTIONS 2010

Parents are reminded that the school trustee’s election will take place on 7 May 2010.  Have you considered putting yourself forward to become a parent trustee?  If you are interested please call Ron Wainwright, Principal 563-6329.  You are also invited to attend any Board of Trustee meeting between now and the election date.  Our next meeting will be held Wednesday, 24 February 6.30pm in the school hall.

Nominations will be called by 9 April 2010.  Nominations will close noon 23 April 2010.

The fundamental role of the Board is the governance of the school and to ensure the delivery of a quality education programme. The Board and staff work as a team to achieve this aim. The role of the Principal as the professional leader of the school is acknowledged by the Board.

The triennial Board of Trustees Elections were held on 29 March 2007.

Board meetings are open to all community members and are normally held on the last Wednesday of each month at 6.30 pm in the staffroom.
