A Farewell to Mrs Crichton at the Last Nga Kukari Assembly

December 11 2019

The very last Nga Kukari assembly was held with a certain sadness this afternoon as we said goodbye to Mrs Crichton who will be leaving Tawhai School at the end of the year. She was presented with some beautiful cards by all the Nga Kukari classes. She was also given a ‘Principal’ award by Mrs Poole! We wish you all the very best for the future Mrs Crichton! Apart from the usual Principal & Student awards, we had 3 Students who had completed reading Recovery and were awarded certificates plus some great books and a Student, Reagan who helped with the programme by mentoring another Student. We were also very fortunate to be entertained by some of our lovely Year 6 Students with some great dancing! Lastly Mrs Lynley Poole acknowledged the Year 3 Students as next year they will be moving into the Senior Nga Manu Syndicate. A VERY BIG thank you Miss Ryan who took some great photos during the assembly!
