As you will have heard, the Government has announced that full vaccination will be mandatory for all staff working in schools from January 2022. This includes our parent volunteers.
We have been following public health advice throughout this pandemic and will continue to do so, to provide a safe environment for children and families.
We have been encouraging all our staff and all our families to get vaccinated as soon as they can, while recognising that children under 12 are not currently eligible.
Important information about parents on site during pick up and drop off times
Face coverings must be worn, parents are asked to stay outside and physical distancing measures retained. Parents, whānau and caregivers are not required to be vaccinated (although encouraged to do so) or tested in order to pick up or drop off children, but they must wear a mask from next week.
As a result of the announcement there will be more information to come.
