Kia ora e te whānau
After morning the Ngā Kukari tamariki enjoyed their first assembly of Term 3!
At the beginning of the assembly we sang & signed (led by Grasyon!)the National Anthem!
Mrs Poole was on hand to proudly hand out the Principal Awards to some very deserving tamariki. She also presented one of our students with a belated Values T-Shirt award as he was away for the Awards assembly last term!
Tu Rangatira Elly & Memphis were also at the assembly to present the Student Awards.
4 lucky students were drawn out of the Blue Stars box!
We also acknowledged that it was Scarf Day for our Cubs and Scouts! The idea of “Scout Scarf Day” on August 1 is that all active and former scouts are requested to wear their scout scarfs in public to make the “Spirit of Scouting” visible: Once a Scout – Always a Scout!
There is a photo at the end of the album of the Tawhai tamariki who were wearing them!
