Nga Manu & Nga Kukari Assemblies Today

July 3 2020

The last day of Term 2 kicked off with the Nga Manu assembly first thing this morning. Caitlyn from Room 15 and Otis from Room 14 did a wonderful job co-presenting the assembly. We had Principal awards, Students awards and 2 special certificates for Room 5 Students, Romyn and Mijieli from Matua Whaitiri.
We had a short skit from a group of Students from Room 15 showing the importance of thinking before you speak!
We had 3 lucky Students drawn out of the star box and the best class award went to Room 15!

Nga Kukari Also had their fortnightly assembly in the hall this morning. Lots of happy and sunny faces as we sang along to ‘Sprinkle a little sunshine’ to the welcome rays of actual sunshine streamed into the hall after days of incessant rain!
Mrs Poole was very proud to hand out both the Principal and Student awards.
The assembly was cut short for an earthquake drill and it was wonderful to see the children very calmly curling up into turtles as the bell sounded!
