Tawhai School

Pajama Day a Phenomenal success!

July 6 2017

It was initially thought that when Tawhai School decided to get behind the PJs for Kids appeal that we would do quite well and get a reasonable quantity of pajamas to donate to the Hutt Hospital children’s ward, but we have been totally blown away by the absolutely amazing generosity of our Tawhai Parents/Whanau/Grandparents. Not only did we receive 170 packets of pajamas, but also enough money for Miss Barnden and Mrs Treadwell to go to the Warehouse in Upper Hutt and purchase another 180 pairs making it a cool 350 pairs of pajamas hence the whole school photo to show how excited we all were by the success of the appeal. Thank you all so much for getting behind this appeal. We live in such a wonderful and caring community! A very special THANK YOU has to go to Janet and Matt from the Warehouse, Upper Hutt for their support today with discounts.
