Kia ora e te whanau
The anticipated rain that set in mid-morning did nothing to lessen the excitement of the Tawhai Kura PB4L Fun Day! It turned out to be an action-packed day of entertainment, activities & treats for our tamariki across the school.
The clown was such a delight to watch as he performed under the whareruruhau for both Ngā Kukuri and Ngā Manu and was a hit with both senior and junior ākonga, alike. The Mr Whippy ice cream/ice blocks went down a real treat! The tamariki who had their faces painted were delighted with the results when they were invited to look in the mirrors provided! The face painters did such a wonderful job that even some of the Kaiako had their faces done too!
A HUGE thank you to the PB4L & the Arts Teams comprising of Deb Barnden, Sarah Tucker, Julia Dorgan, Anna Sissons, Janette Page, and Jules Whitworth, and of course, Kelly, for all the hard mahi to make this such a fun day!
Thank you to Eva & Charli for helping out in the hall earlier in the day when our younger tamariki were getting their faces painted.
Here are photos taken during the day broken down into 3 albums!
