Our wonderful group of student leaders have been working throughout the year developing their leadership skills and with the support of Nik Shute, they explored the 7 habits of highly effective people. As an end of year project the leaders were encouraged to put all they learnt to the test and work with the other Year 6’s in their rooms to design and paint some of the benches around the school. Unfortunately not all of our Year 6’s were able to contribute due to the weather and the very restricted time we had, but look at the end results!
A big thank you to the student leaders – you have been a remarkable group of young people to work with and I know that you will be successful in whatever you choose to do. A big thank you also to Nik Shute for her time and expertise.
