Walkathon Writing

Posted on by Sharon Boese

Some of the students have been busy writing about their Walkathon experience.  Read below to find out what John and Luke Howard had to say.

The Walkathon

Today I did the walkathon at school.  We had to walk around the block.  At each gate I got a stamp.  I walked with Mrs Simpson.

The parents were standing by the gate giving us stamps when we went past.  I got four stamps altogether.

We did the walkathon to raise money for the school.  I had an ice-block when I finished walking.  I had a lot of fun.

The Walkathon

Yesterday I went around the block for the walkathon.  I got 5 stamps.  When I went past my house I saw my mum watching me.

She was smiling at me.  I waved at her.  At the end I got an ice-block.  I had lots of fun.
