Today our kapa haka performance group had the opportunity to perform at the Upper Hutt Cultural Festival. They have been working hard towards this since term 3 with lots of rehearsals and learning new waiata and actions. This mahi paid off today as they were absolutely amazing on the big stage and did Tawhai school proud. Not only did we get to perform in front of a large crowd but we got to watch lots of other schools perform their items as well. Well done to all students involved, your Tawhai values were on display for the entire day, and we are all so proud of you!
