Kia ora e te whānau,
Our gorgeous tamariki gathered together in Room 9a this afternoon for the very first assembly of Term 1, and for some of them it will have been their first ever time in an assembly!
We enjoyed lots of sing along to songs such as pepeha, sprinkle a little sunshine, and hey little heart! 4 of the ākonga who were showing the very best mat manners were invited to sit on Miss Sisson’s special comfy sofa! Tumuaki Mrs Poole was so happy to be able to come along and present the Principal awards and Mrs Burney handed out the Student awards.
The resident kaiwhakaahua was blown away by all the care and concern of all the tamariki when she had to explain why her arm was in a sling (hence cellphone photos and not camera shots for the time being!) They filled her bucket!
