Our gorgeous tamariki in the Horoeka Hub came together yesterday afternoon for their fortnightly assembly in Room 9a.
They sang along to; Hey little heart, Le Aute, and Kindness is free!
Mrs Poole popped in to do her favourite job and present the Principal awards and Miss Sissons did the honours with the Student awards.
Famer B talked to the tamariki about an new reward system initiated by last year’s Tu Rangatira, Miles and Liam, and we celebrated this launch by having a Tawhai Star Day last year!
Golden Tickets
The tamariki can earn a very special Golden ticket. When they have collected 10 tickets, they automatically receive a prize from a special golden box.
Tawhai Superstar Tickets
They can also receive little tickets too, called a ‘Tawhai Superstar’ ticket which goes into a kete and 2 of these tickets will be drawn during the Hub Assembly!
