Kereru Hub Assembly

28th July 2023

Kia ora e te whānau,

Kereru Hub were the first to kick with their fortnightly assembly this morning in the hall. Our very able co-presenters were Rhiannon and Keegan from Ruma whā who did a wonderful job coordinating the action packed assembly.

Tumuaki, Mrs Poole was so happy, after being away on sabatical during Term 2, to be able to present the Principal Awards. Farmer K did the honours with the Values Awards.

Each class had some great work to share. Ruma rima had chosen endangered animals, did their research on them, and created some really cool posters with lots of facts.

Ruma toru did some really beautiful observational drawings on an injured thrush that Farmer K had rescued.

Ruma whā did some amazing artwork, one was a picasso style Picture and the other was based on Kadinsky style of art with concentric circles.

Matua Jake chose Ruma toru as best class of the assembly!
