Kia ora o te whānau,
The kura was saturated in kindness today, but we also had kindness in waves from our wider Stokes Valley Community! The 10 Ladies who come together once a week on a Wednesday as a knitting group at the local Koraunui Stokes Valley Community Hub have been knitting up a storm and as a result of their hard mahi, our gorgeous tamariki from the Pumpkin Patch were all gifted beanies! This afternoon each tamariki could go up to the tables where the beanies were spread out (no two beanies were the same) and choose which one they liked. Some managed to pick one straight away, others took a little longer to decide as they were all gorgeous! In the end everyone had a beautiful beanie on their māhunga!
A HUGE thank you to the knitting group for sending so much kindness our way!
