A few fly-on-the-wall photos taken of both the Ngahere & Kereru Hubs celebrating the end of Week 8 with assemblies just before lunch!
Our wonderful co-hosts for the Ngahere Hub were Abby and Ava who did a fine mahi of presenting this particular assembly!
We had the usual Principal and Student awards. Ka pai to all those who were the worthy recipients!
Last week whilst Mr McGarry was out for the day at Interzone, some of his Students spent some time in Matua Jake’s room with his tamariki during the day. They got together in groups to do some research on some famous and interesting people (and some not so well-known people) and as a result of their findings, they were able to create some really cool posters with lots of fun facts about them. They had a wonderful opportunity to share them in assembly today!
Nate was the lucky ākonga drawn twice out of the Ngahere token box!
Rhiannon & Hazel were the lucky ones drawn in Kereru.
Room 3 were awarded the Tawhai Cup! They only get to keep it for a few days as it will be used for the upcoming Tawhai Cup Football Tournament next week.
