Kopara Hub’s gathering in Room 12 marked the first of the 4 certificated assemblies this week.
Tumuaki, Mrs Poole was very happy to be on hand this afternoon to present the Principals Awards and Hub Leader Mrs Lynley Poole the ākonga certificates. Apart from singing and signing to the National Anthem, Room 6 delighted us by singing to a song that they have been learning, which is a particular favourite of their kaiako, Mrs Treadwell, He Hōnore! They are also learning the actions too!
Everyone has noticed the exquisite artwork that Room 12 have been producing (you can see them in the photos below) of Ranganui and Papatūānuku and Lauren was asked by Mrs Poole to explain how it was done!
To round off the assembly, Marlena and Liam were the lucky ākonga drawn out of the Star Box to receive a prize!
