Kia ora e te whānau,
After the business of grading games completed, it is now the competition proper for our two Year 5 & 6 Waterpolo teams. First up this afternoon at the Stokes Valley Pool was Tawhai Blue playing against Waterloo. A very fiercely fought and competitive game, but our Tawhai tamariki maintained a comfortable lead throughout the game with some great goals, although as the game progressed Waterloo got into their Groove, especially in the second half, and produced some fine goals themselves.
A first round win of 8-3 for Tawhai Blue.
