The Lunchtime Arts Club started up, with Tiare and Katie (Arts Tu Rangatira) organising one lunchtime a week, where students could come along and have fun drawing, colouring in or learning some simple crafts. It provided a quiet space for students to hang out and enjoy some extra visual arts activities. There were a number of regulars that turned up each week and it was great to see students from right across the school sharing their love of the Arts.

The term ended with our Matariki celebrations that included buddy classes getting together to complete art activities. This was a lovely way to develop Tuakana Teina – where the younger and older students worked alongside each other to share their knowledge and have some fun.
Below are a few examples of the arts and crafts that were made.
